Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha, Fabio Da Silva and Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones are in Wales undergoing a medical today before completing a move to Cardiff.
Struggling for first team opportunities this season as he has made just four first team appearances for Manchester United, Zaha is expected to sign on a loan deal for the remainder of the season for a fee believed to be £1.5m.
With the 2014 World Cup in Brazil fast approaching, Zaha will look to impress with more regular first team football as he hopes to catch the eye of England manager Roy Hodgson as a surprise pick to fill the void left by the injured Theo Walcott. Zaha has impressed in his appearances for Gareth Southgate's Under-21 side and could prove to be a major attacking boost to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, who are fighting to stave off relegation as they currently sit bottom of the table on 18 points.
The move for Manchester United full-back Fabio will signify the end of his time at Old Trafford as league rules state Cardiff cannot have two loan signings from the same club. It was originally thought that Cardiff would look to take Fabio on loan, but securing the services of Zaha has forced them to sign the out-of-favour Brazilian on a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, Stoke's Kenwyne Jones is set to complete a swap deal that would see Peter Odemwingie go the other way. Jones has been surrounded by controversy of late following a text message refusing to play to boss Mark Hughes, forcing the Stoke manager to drop him from the side.
