Bayern Munich's Brazilian defender Dante has hinted that he could be on his way to Old Trafford by the end of the transfer window.
The 30 year old centre back was instrumental in Bayern's recent treble-winning season, and reports from Brazil suggest that David Moyes' side will add him to their ranks before the end of the month, according to the Metro.
When asked by Fox Sports Brasil if he had agreed to join the English champions, he said "I’m still not [a Manchester United player]. I continue at Bayern, and I thank Manchester United for their interest. It will all be sorted by the end of the month."
Dante is also currently in contract negotiations at his current club, and it's possible that he's publicising the interest from Old Trafford as a bargaining chip to gain himself a better contract, when he really has no intention of leaving Germany.
Indeed with Bayern unbeaten in the league this season, sitting 7 points clear with a game in hand, it's hard to see why the Brazilian would leave such a high-flying team to join United, who currently sit 7th in the Premier League table, 14 points off 1st placed Arsenal.
The former Borussia Moenchengladbach player has been a strong presence in Bayern's league campaign this season, appearing in all but one of their games this season.
