Alves despite reaching the Champions league final with Barcelona has refused to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Catalan club and could be on his way to Manchester United in the summer
Dani Alves has so far rejected two contract offers from Barcelona who didn’t seem keen on retaining the 31 year old at first. Manchester United have jumped in an offered the Brazilian a bumper deal which could be hard to reject to convince him to join the Old Trafford outfit in the summer for free when his Barcelona contract expires.
Manchester United are looking to rebuild as they set their sights on challenging for the Barclays premier league next season and Alves could be influential to their campaign in and outside England
