As I browse through the internet pages my email notification went off and to check the inbox, it was this monster track by Rouge. Rouge is a south-African femcee who wrote her first song at 19 with a background in poetry and acting. After I listened to “Mi Corazon” the first thing I asked myself is where has she been all along cause she has the potential to be one of the best female rappers coming out of S.A. I immediately did what everyone would do in this digital era; look for more material by Rouge on the internet.
Rogue brings a lot of energy in her raps complimented with a dope delivery and punchlines as you will witness when watching her latest video of “Mi Corazon” on which she featured BigStar Johnson who also performs exceptionally on the “mi corazon” trap beat. With the right team behind her and her talent Rouge will be one of the top female rappers on the continent a few years from now.
