It might not be news but the internet is buzzing with glee over the #MugabeFalls.
The rate at which memes fly around these days though. They are so hilarious that one can literally go sprawling on the floor when you see/read them. I, for one, can’t seem to get enough of these vivacious ideas that spreads like wildfire on social media and the internet generally.
So it happened some hours ago that Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe fell down a flight of stairs on his return to Zimbabwe from Ethiopia, and the incident was captured on camera despite the best efforts of his security team to curtail the unfortunate event from happening.
However, what is hilarious here is not the fall but the memes generated out of it.
The 90-year-old President of Zimbabwe was making his way down from a raised podium at the airport when he appeared to miss a step and fell to the ground.
Mugabe’s security team was quick to step in, surrounding the president and helping him the rest of the way to a parked limousine.
